Neighborhood Nurse -

Wendy Cohan, RN, is your Neighborhood Nurse - a caring registered nurse licensed in the State of Oregon, with broad experience in the health care field, including: 

• Rehabilitation following surgery, stroke, and cardiac events
• Diabetes education and caregiver delegation
• Gluten Intolerance and Celiac Disease education; CD is an important reason for adult failure-to-thrive, and is under-diagnosed in seniors
• Care of post-operative orthopedic and general surgery patients
• Care of patients suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes, COPD and Parkinson's disease
• Case management
  

My expertise is education.  I enjoy  working with families and caregivers to help develop a greater understanding of health care needs and how they can be achieved.
